I opened Wag-N-Ride to give pet parents peace of mind when finding pet care for their loved ones. I operate on trust, honesty and integrity. I have been in the pet care industry since 2012. I have experience in pet care, pet behavior and pet health. I worked in a vet clinic for 6 years and owned an in-home boarding business for 3 years. I specialize in dog and cats, but have cared for reptiles, fish, bunnies, gerbils and horses. I have 3 dogs of my own, and own 2 freshwater fish tanks. I love hiking and being outdoors. I grew up riding horses, and continue to ride in my free time. I have truly loved owning Wag-N-Ride, an getting the opportunity to love each and every one of my fur clients!

Assistant Manager/Pet Care Professional

I’ve loved all animals since I was a kid, but dogs are my passion. I took an interest in dog training after I watched several dogs get rehomed due to poor behavior. I’ve had my dog for 5 years and I trained him with basic commands. After a death of a friend in 2021, I took him through service dog training, and he is now a certified service dog. I met Anna at the vet clinic, and we worked together for about a year. I have experience and knowledge in pet care, health and behavior. I am so excited to be a part of the Wag-N-Ride team and I am looking forward to helping out with daily walks, pet sitting, and pet taxi! Brooklyn is extremely detailed oriented and creative. She is good with client communication, helping organize TTP portals, and gives awesome updates. We have loved having her!

Overnight Manager/Pet Care Professional

I’ve always loved dogs and came into pet sitting as a hobby to be around them more in college. Now I am a pet parent to 6 pets - 3 dogs and 3 cats! I took care of pets as a second job for years after college and finally took the plunge to go full time pet sitting in 2023! I have worked with Anna since then as a contractor, before joining the team full time this year. I love learning about dog behavior and training, and have applied what I learned to caring for the Wag-N-Ride pets over the last few years and want to continue working with Anna in my new position to keep expanding the ways we care for the dogs in the Birmingham area

Hey, my name is Kalea! I have worked for Wag-n-Ride for almost a year now! I love it!! I work part time, mostly on the weekends and holidays. My other full-time job is being an assistant director at a preschool. I have two kids. So, my free time is with them and sports! I love anything outside when it's warm!

Hey! I’m Jess. I’ve lived in the Bham area my whole life. When I’m not visiting your babies, I’m living a double life as a nurse. I joined the Wag N Ride team in October 2025. Being a previous client of Wag N Ride, I understand the importance of updates and pictures while away; I love being a part of the joy and reassurance our visits & reports provide for you & your fur babies. You know it’s me when you see their dedicated “nickname” emoji!  Please excuse (or don’t) any future singing videos! See ya soon! <3 Jess has been a great addition to the team. Hi, I’m Destini! I’ve always had a huge love for animals. In recent years I’ve mostly had cats, so getting the chance to spend time with such sweet pups has been amazing! I promise to give your pets all the love and care they deserve by making sure they’re walked, fed, and of course given plenty of belly rubs. As a client, you can relax knowing your fur babies are safe, happy, and well cared for. Plus, I love sending some of the cutest pictures and updates while you’re away! Starting with Wag n Ride has already been one of the best decisions I’ve made, and I’m so excited to meet many new furry friends and leave every client feeling happy and confident in their pet’s care.

Hey guys! My name is Mallory and I am 21 years old! Here are a few things about me! I grew up in a small town near Tuscaloosa!  Things I like to do during my free time is I love to eat, tanning, going riding  and hanging out with my friends! I also have a doggy named modelo and he is 3 years old! Such a sweet heart! What I love about working for wag n ride is, getting to meet all of the doggy’s/cats and getting to spend time with all of them! You create such a great bond with the dogs/cats and even the owners!

Hey! My names Audrey, I am 22 years old and have always had a passion for animal care! I have had pets my whole life and now currently have a sweet dog named Bruno and two kitties named Pippin and Eevee. When I’m not caring for my sweet pets, you can catch my nose in a book or me painting away! I started working for Wag-N-Ride because after years of trying other careers I knew where my heart wanted to be and that’s always been with pet care! I absolutely love it and can’t wait to meet your adorable fur babies!

Hi, I’m AJ! I’ve always felt most at home around animals, so getting to spend my days caring for pets is something I’m really grateful for. I grew up around dogs and cats, spend plenty of time with my niece and nephew dogs (Oakley, Flynn, and Bowie), and have a dog of my own, Beyoncé! I love the unique personality every animal brings. Whether it’s an energetic pup who wants to run and play fetch for hours, or a laid-back pet who just wants some company and fresh air.
Outside of pet care, I’m a part-time musician, and I also enjoy working on cars and spending time outdoors.
It’s incredibly rewarding to be a part of a company that values pets, their owners, and the team. Working at Wag-n-Ride has been a great experience. Everyone shares a genuine love for animals and a commitment to making sure every pet feels safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m excited to meet new furry friends and give them the attention, exercise, and care they need while their owners are away.
